WWE SmackDown Results, Highlights & Winners (June 28, 2024): Solo Sikoa becomes Tribal Chief
Brawl broke-out, Rhodes, Orton & Owens are escorted out, Knight, Naomi & Tiffany qualified, New Tribal Chief crowned and much more!!!
The June 28, 2024 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is officially over and it is one of the must watch episodes in recent times. The show is held in the world famous, Madison Square Garden in New York City with just one week away from Money in the Bank PLE.
WWE showcased some of the great matches and segments on the show. Get to know what happened this week on SmackDown, as we came out with the complete summary, highlights, results and winners of the show.
The Bloodline, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton & Kevin Owens brawl
The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa) arrived to the arena. Paul Heyman waits for them in the parking. Heyman asks where is Jacob Fatu and Solo without a word took The Bloodline to the make their entrance.
While The Bloodline came out, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens followed them and a brawl broke out. Randy Orton took Tama Tonga, Kevin Owens took Tonga Loa, Cody Rhodes took Solo Sikoa. Orton hit a back drop on Tama over the barricade, Owens delivered a Swantom bomb on Tonga Loa from the audience area & Cody took Solo out. Nick Aldis with a bunch of securities came after things went wild.
Aldis tried to convince Cody, Randy & Kevin, by sending the securities, but only to get attacked by them. They took all of them and with the final three getting hit by their finishers. Aldis headed backstage and they cut promo against The Bloodline. Aldis then came with the NYPD and escorted them out of the building.
Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match- Candice LeRae vs Jade Cargill vs Tiffany Stratton
The match began with Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae targeting Jade Cargill in control. However Jade fought back, countering the vertical suplex into a double clothesline taking down both. Cargill took both in control with a backbreaker to the knee on Candice and a superkick to Tiffany. Cargill then gorilla-pressed Candice out of the ring throwing her over Tiffany. Nia Jax marched ringside and Belair followed her up.
Back after the commercial, all the three exchanged blows, splashes and countered each other’s move. Jade was sent out, where Nia Jax tried to attack, but Belair stopped her. Using the distraction, Indi popped-out and pushed Cargill to the ring post. Belair went chasing her.
Inside the ring, Candice tried to roll-down Tiffany, but Tiffany escaped and delivered a Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Candice to win the match and qualified to the Women’s MITB ladder match.
Backstage- Street Profits & Pretty Deadly
Street Profits met Nick Aldis and asked for a match against The Bloodline tonight, however Aldis refused, as there are already chaos surrounding The Bloodline tonight and they are also having the Acknowledgment Ceremony.

Paul Heyman said that Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are not in the building and were sent out. Heyman asked Solo, where is Jacob Fatu and Solo said that Fatu is too dangerous and is not here and never be.
Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match- LA Knight vs Logan Paul vs Santos Escobar
Logan Paul brought Tyrese Haliburton of Indiana Pacers with him to shut the New York crowd. Tyrese had a quick face-off with Jalen Brunson, who was in the front row.
The match began with Santos Escobar and Logan Paul targeting LA Knight. Escobar seemed more angry on Knight than Logan and he took him with a series of strikes and a Hurricanrana. Logan Paul sent Escobar out with a big right hand. and delivered a sideslam to Knight. Knight fought back taking Escobar out with a slide kick, but Logan took Knight out and delivered a springboard crossbody & Escobar took him out with a suicide dive.
Back after the commercial, Knight bangs Logan’s face to the announcement table and Escobar stopped him, taking Knight to the ring. Both went for the top rope, where Escobar delivered a hurricanrana. Logan Paul stop the pin and made Escobar perform a splash on Knight.
Knight tossed Escobar for a slam and hit the elbow drop. When Knight went to focus on Logan, Escobar took Knight with the double knees and Fantom Driver. Logan and Santos went for the top rope where Knight took Escobar with a German Super-plex and Logan hit a Frog Splash on LA Knight.
Logan asks Haliburton for the brass knuckles, but Brunson tries to stop him. Referees separate them. Escobar tried to use the momentum by rolling Logan, but Knight stopped him with a BFT and rolled Logan Paul for the win and qualified for the Men’s MITB ladder match.
After the match, Haliburton and Logan surrounded LA Knight and Brunson with a Steel Chair came to alight with Knight and made Logan and Tyrese retreat.

Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match- Naomi vs Blair Davenport vs Indi Hartwell
Blair Davenport and Indi Hartwell discussed plans to take down Naomi, but Naomi hit them with a double drop kick. Naomi tries for a crossbody on them, but they took them out. Davenport tried to soll Indi with the distraction. Indi took Naomi with a powerbomb, swinging Naomi to take Davenport out. All the three took the fight outside the ring, where Indi took Naomi and Blair took Indi in control.
Back inside the ring, Naomi initiated a move taking with both of her opponents down. Naomi hit the splitted leh drop on both od the them and hit corner elbow strike. Indi escapes and delivered a spinebuster to Blair on Naomi, but not enough for a fall.
Naomi hit a Moonsault on Indi and Blair delivered a Falcon Arrow on Naomi, however the fall was broken. All the three exchange kicks. Blair looks for her finisher, but Indi took her down and swing her shoulder first to the ring post. Indi tried to attack Naomi, but Jade Cargill marched her way to the ring. Indi in pursuit of attacking Jade got distracted, where Naomi delivered her finisher and won the match to advance to the MITB ladder match.
Backstage Interview- #DIY
#DIY is interviewed backstage as they got the title match in Toronto, Canada. They say that they won their NXT Tag Titles their and eight years later they will win their WWE Tag Team titles next week. Austin Theory interrupted them and said that he and his best friend Waller will take them out. Gargank said that Waller is not his friend and he is using Theory to keep the title. Waller attacked DIY from the back, but Theory separated Waller from them.
Bloodline Acknowledgment Ceremony
Paul Heyman gave the intro, but Solo Sikoa asked for the microphone like Roman Reigns and introduced the newest member of The Bloodline, The Samoan Were Wolf, Solo Sikoa’s Enforcer, Jacob Fatu. Fatu made his debut entrance.
When all the members assembled on the ring, Solo asked everyone to acknowledge him, which shocked Paul Heyman. Solo called every member of The Bloodline to step forward and asked for Acnkowledgment. Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu acknowledged him. Solo asked Paul Heyman to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief and pulled out the Ula Fala.
Paul Heyman went emotional seeing the Ula Fala, which belongs to Roman Reigns. Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as his Tribal Chief. This made Solo Sikoa Samoan Spike Heyman. The Bloodline members attacked Heyman with Jacob Fatu delivering a splash, and delivering a Triple Powerbomb to break the announcement table with Heyman. Jacob Fatu put the Ula Fala on Solo Sikoa and Solo became The New Tribal Chief, with evveryone rising for the ones.

- The Bloodline brawled with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens & the babyfaces are escorted out of the building.
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Candice LeRae & Jade Cargill to qualify for the MITB ladder match.
- LA Knight defeated Logan Paul & Santos Escobar to qualify for the MITB ladder match.
- Naomi defeated Blair Davenport and Indi Hartwell to qualify for the MITB ladder match.
- Solo Sikoa becomes the Tribal Chief, Jacob Fatu becomes his Enforcer.
- Paul Heyman refuses to acknowledge Solo Sikoa and got assaulted.
