The WWE WrestleMania 40 Night 2 is officially over and it is one of the greatest WrestleMania events of all time. The show featured a total of six matches and every match were beyond the expectations. Four new Champions were crowned on the night including a Money in the Bank Cash-in and a number of surprise returns. WrestleMania 40 Night 2 Summary & Highlights
The War & Treaty, Stephanie McMahon
The War & Treaty performed the “God Bless America” with the live singing and drums. Stephanie McMahon addressed the WWE Universe saying that when she was eight years, she was backstage of WrestleMania 1 and she follows every WrestleMania till date. She welcomes everyone to the Paul “Triple H” Levesque Era.
World Heavyweight Championship Match- Seth Rollins (C) vs Drew McIntyre
CM Punk was on the commentary for the match. Both Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins had a great, grand entrance to the ring.
Drew McIntyre Entrance:
Seth “Freakin” Rollins entrance
As soon as the match began, Drew McIntyre hit a Claymore and it goes for a near fall. Seth Rollins rolls out, McIntyre targets Rollins’ knee and back. Drew tries for a Future Shock DDT, but Rollins counters it with a Pedigree outside the ring. Back in the ring, Rollins hit a Curb Stomp. Rollins tries for a pedigree, Drew escapes and fights back. Both exchange elbow to the face and chops and kicks. Drew hit a Glasgow Kiss & a Neck Breaker.
Drew looks for a Claymore, but Rollins hit a Powerbomb, Pedigree and a Stomp, and it goes for a nearfall. Both countered each others finishers & finally, Drew hit a Future Shock DDT. Drew has a staredown with CM Punk and taunts GTS move, but Rollins rolls down. Drew escapes and hit a Claymore for a near fall.
Drew McIntyre clears the table and looks to powerbomb Rollin, but Rollins escapes. Rollins kicks him on the face and stomps him on the announcement table. Back in the ring, Drew hit a Claymore for a nearfall. Drew hit another Claymore right on the face and wins the World Heavyweight Championship. Drew McIntyre become the New World Heavyweight Championship.
CM Punk strikes & Damian Priest MITB cash-in
Rollins cried and said that McIntyre is right. Drew walks near CM Punk and has trash talking with CM Punk, showcasing his championship. McIntyre says “suck that”. Punk heard enough and attacked McIntyre with the arm braces.
Damian Priest ran with the MITB briefcase and attacked him with the briefcase, hit the South of Heaven Chokeslam to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Damian Priest successfully cashed-in to become the New World Heavyweight Champion.
Six-Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight- Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits vs Final Testament
Snoop Dogg joins the commentary & Bubba Ray Dudley is the Special Guest Referee for the match. Final Testament clears the ring, The Street Profits introduces the table, but AOP took them down. Final Testament with three Kendo Stick attacked Bobby Lashley with a 3-on-1 attack.
Kross hit Bobby back first to the steel chair. Dawkins and Ford came to save, but ends up getting attacked. AOP hit a Powerbomb on Street Profits, and went for the fall, but B-Fab attacked him them with the Kendo Stick, Scrlett took her out. Lashley with a Flatliner to Kross took the control.
Street Profits took AOP down. Lashley locks Kross into the hurt lock, Scarlet attacked Lashley with the Kendo Stick. B-Fab took her with a Cycle kick, Scarlett and B-Fab fell on the table to break it. Kross hit a DDT on a chair for a near fall. Kross argues with Dudley and pushes him. Dudley pulls the glass out, Lashley hit a spear. Dawkins hit a headbutt to the groin like the Dudley Boyz. Everyone said “Get the tables”.
Ford hit a frog Splash on Kross to break the table and for the win.
LA Knight vs AJ Styles
AJ Styles debuts his new entrance theme, he waste no time as he ran into the ring and both exchanged hands to start the match. Styles is sent out, and Knight bangs his head to the announcement table. Styles targets Knight’s leg and take control. LA Knight fights back and hit a clothesline, leg sweep, knee to the face and Tornado DDT. Both went to the top rope, where Knight bite AJ Styles head & Styles poked his eyes. Knight hit a German Suplex from the top rope.
AJ Styles locks LA Knight’s leg and he breaks it reaching the ropes. Styles bangs Knight’s leg to the ring post and kicked him on it. Knight pulled his leg and made Styles hit face first on the ring post. Knight removed the ground mat, but backfired getting hit on the back. Styles enters the ring for a count out, Knight breaks the count at 9.
Styles hit a Springboard 450, but Knight has his knees up. Both exchange hands & Styles hit a Pele Kick. Both countered each others finisher. Styles looks for a Phenomenal Fore Arm, but Knight pulled the rope for a crash landing. Knight his a BFT for the win.
United States Championship Triple Threat Match- Logan Paul (C) vs Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens
Logan Paul Entrance:
The Bell ring and Logan Paul sneaks out. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton chased him and it turn out to be a two on one attack. Orton hit a back drop on the announcement table and they took him to the ring. Kevin Owens & Randy Orton worked togther, but when it comes to pinning Logan Paul the real problem began. Randy tried to RKO Kevin Owens & both exchange hands. Logan Paul took both down with a springboard clothesline.
Logan Paul took both Orton and Owens in control. Kevin however hit a superkick on Logan & a Cannon Ball to crush both of them. Owens looks for a Swanton but Logan has his knees up. Logan hit a Swanton on Kevin Owens, followed by a Frog splash to Randy.
Orton hit Logan Paul with a Powerslam and hit a Double DDT on Kevin Owens & Loogan. Orton looks for an RKO, but Owens hit a Superkick on both of them, hit a Senton-Code Breaker combo. Owens Powerslammed Logan from the middle rope, followed by a Moonsault.
Orton hit an RKO on Owens. Logan hit Orton with the Brass Knuckles. Logan hit Brass Knuckles on Kevin Owens to lay him outside the ring. Randy hit an RKO on Logan Paul, handed the brass knuckles to the referee and looks for a Punt kick. However the man wearing Prime Bottle costume saved Logan. The Prime bottle reveals to be ‘I Show Speed’. Orton hit him with an RKO on the announcement table.
Owens hit a Pop-up powerbomb on Logan & a stunner on Orton. Randy hit Owens with an RKO, Maverick pushed him out of the ring and hit a frog splash on Owens to get the pin. Logan Paul retains the United States Championship.
WWE Women’s Championship- IYO SKY (C) vs Bayley
As the match began, bot Bayley & IYO SKY countered each others move. SKY targets bayley’s leg by smashing her leg on the ring post and locks with Leg Lock. IYO tries to jump over her, but Bayley hit a Bayley-to-Belly suplex. Back in the ring, Bayley hit a sideslam.
IYO SKY drop kicks Bayley on the top rope to send her out and hit a Moonsault outside the ring. She took Bayley to the ring, hit a missile drop kick, and kick to the back of the head. Bayley hit a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on the turnbuckle, which went for a nearfall. IYO hit two rolling German Suplex and a Moonsault, but Bayley has her knees up. Bayley hit an elbow drop, but got countered with the Cross Face & STF. Bayley escaped & hit a Bayley-to Belly Suplex.
Both exchanged hands with IYO SKY slamming her back first on the knee. SKY hit back to back suplex, but she escapes the third one. The Role Model hit the Bayley-to-Back Suplec, Elbow drop from the top rope and a Rose Plant for the win. Bayley become the New WWE Women’s Champion.
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship “Bloodline Rules” match- Roman Reigns (C) vs Cody Rhodes

Both have a face-off and had a shoulder tackle, head lock and countered each others move. Cody hit his signature punch. Roman when tried to spear, but hit shoulder first on the ring post. Cody took the tables out, Roman kicked him on the face & kept the table down. Cody pushed Roman to the steel steps. Roman punishes Cody with the Kendo Stick. Cody escaped the swing and hit a Bulldog. Cody locks Roman with the figure-4, but Roman poked his eye.
Roman took Cody to the audience area, where Cody hit a Vertical back suplex on the box out there. Back in the ring, Roman hit a powerbomb. Roman punishes Cody and trashed talked with him. Roman hit a series of clothesline, locking Cody in the corner. Cody escaped and hit him with a couple of super kick and both clashed with the clothesline.
Cody hit a disaster kick and tried for a Cody Cutter but Roman hit Cody Cutter [Cody’s finishing move]. Roman looks for a Superman Punch, where Cody countered it with a Bionic Elbow. Cody clears the announcement table, but Roman hit him with a low blow & powerbomb him on the announcement table to break it. Roman took him to the ring and hit a Superman Punch. Roman looks for a spear, Cody counters with a Cody cutter.
Cody looks for a Cross Rhodes, Roman looks for a Rock Bottom, finally Cody hit him with a Spear. Cody hit a Cross Rhodes, looks for another, but Jimmy Uso came from nowhere and hit a Superkick. Roman connects a Superman punch. Jey Uso came to counter Jimmy. Both fought on the entrance ramp where, Jey hit a super kick on Jimmy and speared him to break the table.
Roman speared Cody & Cody speared him through the barricade. Back in the ring, Cody hit a couple of Cross Rhodes, on to the third, Solo Sikoa hit him with a Samoan Spike. Roman and Solo hit the Samoan Spike Spear Combo, but still Cody still kicked out.
John Cena made his return and hit an AA on Roman and Solo Sikoa. to break the announcement table. The Rock showed up and hit a Rock bottom on John Cena. The Shield Music played, Seth Rollins came with the chair. Roman hit a super man punch on him. The Undertaker showed up and choke slammed The Rock.
Roman hit the chair on Seth Rollins back. Roman looks for a spear, Cody hit three Cross Rhodes to dethrone Roman and won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Cody Rhodes finishes his story to become the New Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
