Kylian Mbappe says "it's more of a dream" to play at Paris Olympics 2024

For Kylian Mbappe, competing in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris would be a game-changer for his career. Mbappé won’t sign with a team that won’t let him compete in an Olympic Games at home, according to those close to him.
For him to concentrate on the Olympics and EUROs and sign with a club a little later than normal, they are additionally not considering the possibility of him being a free agent.

“I’ve always had the ‘Olympic flame’,” he said. “Along with the FIFA World Cup, the Olympic Games are the biggest sports event in the world. The Games in Paris, 100 years after [the last time they were held in the city]… mean the world to me. The idea of competing at the Games with France would be an extraordinary opportunity. It’s actually more of a dream than an opportunity.”
The World Cup Golden Boot recipient has previously expressed her admiration for the Olympic Games.
There are obstacles to get past if Mbappé hopes to compete in the upcoming Games, even for somebody as brilliant as him. First of all, he would have to be selected for Thierry Henry’s final team, of which only three players who were born before January 1, 2001, are allowed to play.
In addition, he would require approval from his club and the necessary level of fitness following the Euros, which conclude in less than two weeks, in order to participate in the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony.
