Bengaluru FC: All trophies won in history

Bengaluru FC are one of the most successful clubs in Indian football.
Indian Super League (ISL) club Bengaluru FC are often considered to be among the elite clubs of Indian Football. The Blues came onto the scene ten years ago in 2013 and have gone on to win everything in Indian Football.
They have emerged as an unstoppable force of nature and have accumulated a lot of success within a short span of just ten years. The club was formed by the well-known JSW group of India and has been managed by them ever since. It is believed that the management behind Bengaluru FC have played a very crucial role in their success on the pitch.
On that note, let us take a look at the list of trophies won by Bengaluru FC.
I-league Champions (2 times)
2013-14
The Blues won their first trophy in their debut season itself. They created history by becoming the first team to win an I-league title in their debut season. The team was managed by English manager Ashley Westwood who brought the best out of his players and led Bengaluru to its first trophy following a win against Salgaocar at the Fatorda Stadium.
2015-16
The 2015-16 season was Bengaluru FC’s third season in the I-league and they were one of the best teams in the league. They lost the 2014-15 I-league title on the final day and failed to keep their title intact. But they came back stronger the following season and won the I-league yet again making it two title wins in three seasons.
Federation Cup Winners (2 times)
2014-15
Bengaluru FC won the 36th edition of the Federation Cup in 2014. They finished in the first position in Group B before knocking out Sporting Goa 3-0 in the semi-finals. They defeated Salgaocar 2-1 in the final to get their hands on the trophy. Moreover, they were unbeaten throughout the campaign, the only team to do so that season.
2016-17
The Blues went on to win one more Federation Cup title in the 2016-17 season. They began their campaign with a 3-2 win over Shillong Lajong followed by a 2-0 defeat to DSK Shivajians and then a 1-1 draw against Mohun Bagan to conclude their group stage campaign.
They finished in their group behind Bagan. The JSW-owned outfit defeated Aizawl in the semi-final before securing a 2-0 win over Mohun Bagan in extra time to lift the trophy.
Indian Super League (ISL) champions
2018-19
After a heartbreaking final in their debut ISL season, Bengaluru FC decided to go all out in the following season. They were the team to beat and no one was able to stop them. They recorded an 11-game undefeated run coupled with a six-game winning streak.
They finished at the top of the table in the group stages and locked horns with NorthEast United in the semi-finals. They bounced back big time in the second leg despite losing the first leg and made their way into the finals where they defeated FC Goa to win their first and only ISL trophy.
Super Cup Winners
2018-19
The Super Cup was Bengaluru FC’s second trophy of the 2018-19 season. They came into the setup as the ISL champions and were high on confidence. They defeated Gokulam Kerala in the RO16 before knocking out Neroca in the quarter-finals.
The Blues then went on to secure a 4-2 win over Mohun Bagan in the semi-finals to enter the final of the Super Cup. In the final, they defeated East Bengal 4-1 and became the inaugural Super Cup champions.
Durand Cup Champions
2022
After a couple of rough and disappointing seasons, Bengaluru FC bounced back with a statement Durand Cup triumph. They finished second in Group A and were locked against Odisha FC in the quarter-finals.
The Blues pulled off a hard-fought 2-1 win over the Juggernauts in extra-time before defeating Hyderabad FC in the semi-final. They wrapped up their campaign in the best possible way with a win over Mumbai City FC in the final.
