The Englishman was delighted with his side's performance and hopes they continue with the same in the upcoming games.
The turn of the new month brought new cheers to Hyderabad FC coach Phil Brown, as his side registered their first win in the Indian Super League defeating Kerala Blasters 2-1.
The visitors took the lead through Rahul KP just past the half hour mark. But, the home team pulled things back with a strong performance in the second half, to snatch the lead and the three points from the Blasters' grasp.

Phil Brown was no doubt on cloud nine while talking about the win. He said, "I think it was a fantastic team effort. This is for the people of Hyderabad. But, we have to show such performances that make us proud to wear the shirt. After we equalized, Kerala started playing more direct, which isn't their natural game. So, I said, if they change their gameplan and formation, it means we are doing something right."
The coach raved in his praise of Marcelinho, who scored the winner with a stunning free-kick. "There have been questions asked of him, as he played only 45 minutes in the first game and played 55 minutes in the second."
"I knew that when we have players of his quality, he must finish games and he will play well. I think he was on his game tonight. Tonight he showed that he wanted to be the hero and he will go down in the folklore of Hyderabad. As a coach, I'm proud."
Brown expressed his happiness and appreciation for the 12,000+ fans, who turned up for the game at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in the city and expected more for Wednesday's game against NorthEast United.

His opinion on the support received was, "I heard it was a full house. The atmosphere was fabulous and it played its part in a great spectacle. I hope we can compound it by winning our next game and make Hyderabad a fortress and more importantly, a home."
The men from the Deccan play their next game at home to NorthEast United on 6 November. Whereas, Kerala Blasters now go back to Kochi to face Odisha FC two days after.
