About the Player
Vishnu TM hails from Kerala. He joined Aryan Club last season and scored a hat-trick in his maiden appearance against Kidderpore SC. Aryan Club went on to win the game by 5-1. East Bengal’s preparations for ISL 2022/23
East Bengal have parted ways with their investor Shree Cement Limited. The club is currently in search of a new investor and is hopeful of securing one very soon. The Red & Golds have already signed pre-contracts with players like defender Mohamad Rakip (from Mumbai City), Ivan Gonzalez (from FC Goa) and Mobashir Rahman (from Jamshedpur) for the upcoming season. They are also in talks with Aridai Cabrera and Sanjib Ghosh.
Prior to these signings, the club officials had signed pre-contracts with Aditya Patra, Mahitosh Roy, Suryash Jaiswal, Dip Saha and Nabi Hussain Khan for the upcoming season. The likes of Mahitosh Roy and Nabi Hussain Khan performed brilliantly in the Santosh Trophy for West Bengal.
Meanwhile, Dip Saha is an academy graduate who played for the club in the Zee Bangla Football League (2019). The last two seasons didn’t yield much for the Kolkata Giants. They ended ninth in 2020/21. In the recently concluded season, they finished at the bottom of the table. Thus, it is expected that the club will focus on building a strong side for the 2022/23 season.
