Manchester United are among the most followed clubs on the planet. The Red Devils have grown their fanbase through their success, the players who have represented the club, and the brand appeal that the club has cultivated since the dawn of the millennium.
Despite their lack of success over the past few years, the club always have their loyal fanbase to count on. Their efforts over the last few decades have won them the support of certain celebrities as well. These celebrities have made their love for the club known directly or indirectly in different times.
Here are the top 10 celebrities who are Manchester United fans.
10. Megan Fox
The popular American actress is reportedly a huge fan of Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez who featured for the club from between 2010-15.
Known widely for her portrayal of Mikaela Banes at film franchise Transformers, the actress has continued to support the Red Devils. But it seems like her interests in the club have diminished since Hernandez left in 2015. She was more prominently seen sporting United's jerseys in the early part of the previous decade.
9. Rey Mysterio
The Mexican-American has mesmerized fans around the world with his acrobatic wrestling skills and moves. But he considers himself mesmerized by Manchester United.
Oscar Gutierrez Rubio, popularly known by his stage name, Rey Mysterio, met the Manchester United squad in 2018 during the club's pre-season tour of the United States. He met David De Gea, then manager Jose Mourinho, Fred, and several other players. He also received a shirt with the number '619' on it. The number alludes to the name given to his famous finishing move in wrestling.

Justin Timberlake has attended plenty of games at Old Trafford. The American has been seen sporting the Manchester United kit a lot of times on social media as well.
The popular singer is a close friend of former United striker Alan Smith. He also mentioned that Smith is his favourite player of the club.
7. Rory McIlroy
Rory McIlroy has often shown his allegiance by wearing Manchester United shirts and has attended games at Old Trafford. In fact, McIlroy received an honorary award from the club after winning 'The Open' in 2014. He received his award in front of a packed Old Trafford ahead of a game against arch-rivals Liverpool.

Stormzy is a UK based rapper, singer and songwriter. The rapper rose to fame in 2014, through his Wicked Skengman series of freestyles. He is a very well-known celebrity in Europe. The UK-based singer is a life long Manchester United fan and has been pictured at the Red Devil's training ground Carrington training ground. He has also been spotted at Old Trafford multiple times, supporting his team from the sidelines.
5. Kim Jong-Un
The enigmatic leader of North Korea has often remained tight-lipped on a lot of things. But one thing that made public frenzy was his reported affection for the Red Devils.
Many sources also claimed that the autocratic leader sought to purchase the club from the Glazers. It gave just the incentive for the tabloids and papers in England to take the mickey out of the situation.
4. Floyd Mayweather
The boxer mentioned his backing for the Red Devils in a 2017 interview with former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand. Mayweather also spoke about how he unsettled an opponent of his in 2007 by sporting a club shirt.
Mayweather faced an opponent who claimed himself to be a Manchester City fan. The American sported a Red Devils' jersey and managed to get under his opponent's skin. Although he admitted he didn't know about United back then. Mayweather mentioned has never been to a football game, but reiterated his desire to visit and watch the Red Devils in action.
3. Usain Bolt
The fastest man on the planet was quick in pledging his lifelong allegiance to the record English champions. The Jamaican is an active follower and often tweets his support for this side.
In 2012, Bolt received an honorary shirt bearing the number '9:63'. The number alluded to the time he clocked in the 100m sprint final in the 2012 London Olympics. Bolt set a world record and clinched the gold medal in the event.
Bolt claimed that he always dreamed of representing the club in an interview in 2016. He said "For me, if I could get to play for Manchester United, that would be like a dream come true. Yes, that would be epic."
2. MS Dhoni
The iconic Indian captain is another cricketer who supports and follows the Red Devils. MS Dhoni is an ardent Manchester United supporter and has been to Old Trafford to show his support for the club. His former IPL teammate, Sam Billings also revealed Dhoni's love interest with the iconic club.
"He is a big Man United fan, which really helps, as am I. He always invited me, there's a few Man United fans around. So whenever the game was on, we used to go to his room and watch there," Billings said.
Dhoni himself has made his love for the club evident on plenty of occasions in interviews and shows. Dhoni also endorses Gulf Oil, who sponsor Manchester United. Therefore, the former Indian cricket team captain is often the face of promotional campaigns for the partnership between the two.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk put out a tweet about buying Manchester United. While the Tesla CEO confirmed that he was only going off a long-running joke on Twitter. But he also did confirm that he supported Manchester United when he was a kid. He also went on to say that if he was to buy any football teams it would be Manchester United.
