On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, the “King of Kings” Triple H came up with some of the major announcements. He made WWE Official Adam Pearce as the Raw General Manager, Nick Aldis as SmackDown General Manager.
The SmackDown General Manager then made the first move of bringing the newest member of the blue roster as a countertrade to Jey Uso. Kevin Owens was traded to SmackDown, who came to the ring and stunned the “NXT North American Champion” Dominik Mysterio. He shook hands with honor and two general managers.
Kevin Owens on Adam Cole
Kevin Owens was then interviewed backstage by Cathy Kelly after SmackDown went off air. Where Owens was asked about how he feels being traded to SmackDown, where Owens said that he is feeling great and spoke about celebrating this moment with her mom, by traveling to Canada the next day.
He spoke about stunning Dom, and said that her mom hates both Dom & Rhea as they kept messing with him in Raw. Surprisingly he saw Dom on SmackDown and that’s why he stunned him. At the end of the interview, Owens said that he has a friend named Adam, who is about to have a major surgery and he wishes him for a speedy recovery.
Kevin Owens says,
“I have a friend named Adam who had a very serious surgery today, he’s at the hospital now recovering, just wanna say Adam, we love you, we’re with you & take care of yourself buddy.”
Despite the war going on between WWE & AEW, the support from wrestlers across the brands proves the real sportsmanship.
Adam Cole's injury
Adam Cole suffered a legitimate Ankle injury at AEW Grand Slam, where he shattered his knee in three different places. He was hospitalized and was about to undergo surgery at that time Owens gave a shout out to Adam Cole.
We wish Adam Cole a speedy recovery and get back into the ring to continue his storyline as soon as possible.
