WWE fans demanding CM Punk vs Kevin Owens feud

There is deep animosity between the two superstars

Two of the most controversial figures in WWE, CM Punk and ‘The Prizefighter’ Kevin Owens are not a big fan of each other. The two stars have had feuds with a lot of stars in the WWE.

However, the feud between the two former WWE champions is something that spills out of the WWE rings as both fighters are not very fond of each other. Owens had even stated earlier that he and Punk never talk and that they have no reason to talk.

This hatred stemmed from their Ring of Honor Days around 2005 when Punk was a promotional star and The Prizefighter had recently joined the promotion. As per Veteran wrestler Joe Feeney, the real-life heat between the two started during their run in ROH.

The real-life feud started because of Punk’s authority as a star in the ROH locker room. Joe further revealed that there were huge disagreements between Punk and Kevin as they had contrasting opinions.

The feud between Kevin Owens and CM Punk would be a treat to watch

As per recent reports, Kevin is very close to signing a new deal with WWE. This has started WWE fans to speculate new storylines and fights for The Prizefighter.

Among such potential fights, WWE fans want KO to face Punk given their long history of disdain for each other. Both fighters are rarely on the same page.

On X(formerly Twitter), one fan wrote demanding a fight between the two former champions, “A feud between CM Punk and Kevin Owens would feel so god damn real.” “The promos alone would be an instant goldmine.” wrote another fan.

‘We need this masterclass feud in 2025’ another fan wrote on the platform. If done right this feud has the potential to become one of the best feuds since Punk’s return to WWE. The promos for the fights would also be a treat to watch.

Both the fighters are veterans of the game with impeccable mic and in-ring wrestling skills. If the WWE decides to book a fight between the two former champions the storyline would be amazing as it would be a treat for the fans to watch the two vets fight.
