WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, November 2025, is just days away

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is just days away, and anticipation is at an all-time high. With four championship matches already confirmed for the televised special, the card looks stacked, but perhaps not complete.

Over the past few years, WWE has followed a familiar five-match structure for its major network specials. If that trend continues, one more bout could still find its way onto the lineup for the 41st edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event in Salt Lake City.

From championship defenses to grudge matches that could steal the show, here are three matches WWE could add to round out the card.

Damian Priest vs Aleister Black

Few rivalries in WWE have been as personal or brutal in recent months as Damian Priest vs Aleister Black. Their Last Man Standing match just a few weeks ago ended in chaos, with Black picking up a controversial win after launching a fireball into Priest’s face.

However, The Archer of Infamy got his revenge last week when he cost Black the United States Championship against Ilja Dragunov. Their bad blood is far from over, and WWE could escalate their feud at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

This match would allow both men to unleash their full intensity in an all-out brawl that spills beyond the ring. With their history of violent encounters and high-impact offense, Priest vs Black could provide the perfect dose of chaos to complement a card filled with title matches. It’s the kind of match that doesn’t need a championship; it just needs a score to settle.

Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs The Kabuki Warriors

The women’s tag team division could get a major spotlight this weekend if WWE adds Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs The Kabuki Warriors to the lineup.

On Monday Night RAW, Asuka and Kairi Sane returned dominantly, attacking both Flair and Bliss after their successful title defense against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.

The Kabuki Warriors made their intentions clear: they want the gold. Given the attack’s timing, it wouldn’t be surprising if WWE announces this title match for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The Kabuki Warriors’ return injects fresh life into the women’s tag division, and their chemistry as a team could push the champions to their limits.

A title defense for Flair and Bliss would also serve as a marquee women’s bout for the special, ensuring the show maintains its championship-heavy theme. With both teams being established names, this could easily become one of the night’s most talked-about matches.

Ilja Dragunov’s United States Championship Open Challenge

Ilja Dragunov WWE NXT

Ilja Dragunov has been a revelation since returning to WWE and winning the United States Championship from Sami Zayn earlier this month. The Mad Dragon has carried his fighting champion persona into every show, issuing open challenges week after week.

While another defense is already planned for SmackDown 24 hours before Saturday Night’s Main Event, WWE could continue the momentum by having Dragunov appear again in Salt Lake City for a special open challenge. The unpredictability of who might answer adds intrigue, especially with the possibility of a surprise return or crossover challenger.

Names like Jimmy Uso, Gunther, or Carmelo Hayes could all step up to face Dragunov. Even if the title doesn’t change hands, the match could serve as a star-making moment for whoever challenges the reigning champion.

An open challenge would also fit perfectly within WWE’s storytelling structure, adding excitement and spontaneity to an already stacked card.

How many matches are expected at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event?

WWE typically runs five matches for Saturday Night’s Main Event, and with four already announced, one more addition is likely before the broadcast.

Will the Women’s Tag Team Championships be defended at SNME?

While not officially confirmed, The Kabuki Warriors’ attack on Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss strongly suggests a title match could be added to the card.
