Top five ways Seth Rollins could make his WWE return

Seth Rollins is one of the biggest WWE stars of the past decade
Seth Rollins has been written off television once again after he was brutally attacked on the RAW after SummerSlam by Bronson Reed, who hit him with 6 Tsunamis, taking him out of action in kayfabe.
This made Bronson Reed look like an absolute monster and, at the same time, gave Seth Rollins a much-deserved break after he consistently carried the WWE as their workhorse champion in the past year and also served as the MVP of WrestleMania 40, even with an injured knee.
As Bad Blood is drawing close, let’s look at the possibilities in which Seth Rollins could make his WWE return whenever he decides to come back.
Could attack Bronson Reed next week on WWE RAW
The most predictable and likely possibility would be for Seth to go after Bronson Reed whenever he comes back, as he is the one who took Seth out.
Now, Bronson Reed will take on Braun Strowman in a Last Man Standing match next week on RAW, and Bronson Reed is likely to go over clean on Braun Strowman in that match, setting him up as the new undisputed monster of WWE.
After the match, Bronson Reed might continue his relentless attack on Braun Strowman, and this is when Seth Rollins might walk in to make the save and exact his revenge by attacking the exhausted Bronson Reed, setting up a match between the two at Bad Blood, perhaps.
Cost CM Punk his Hell In A Cell match at WWE Bad Blood
This has a low chance of happening, as the title suggests CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are facing off one last time inside Hell in a Cell to conclude their 9-month-long grudge rivalry.
WWE still has plans to set up Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk next year at WrestleMania, and this might be a good place to start the build-up. But again, the match is taking place inside the cell, and even though it is possible to create interference, Seth Rollins is no Brock Lesnar, who will break down the cell door to beat up Punk.
Still, there is a tiny possibility that Seth Rollins will find a way to cost Punk his match at Bad Blood, eventually setting up the feud between them at WrestleMania 41.
Cost CM Punk his World Heavyweight Championship Match at WWE Survivor Series
This has a much higher chance of happening. CM Punk has already mentioned that he is coming for the World Heavyweight Championship before, and assuming that he is going to be the one to beat Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell to finally finish this grudge rivalry, he will be challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series next.
WWE won’t take the belt off Gunther so soon, and we all know that at the same time, they would want to preserve Punk’s credibility. The best way to accomplish both is by making Seth Rollins interfere in the match, distracting Punk in some way or form, and costing him his shot at the championship.
Attack Cody Rhodes and challenge him for the WWE Undisputed Championship
Seth Rollins sacrificed his health, his well-being, and his championship at WrestleMania 40, to make sure Cody Rhodes can beat Roman Reigns and win the WWE Undisputed Championship, and so he did.
Seth Rollins got injured while Cody Rhodes continued being a workhorse champion that WWE deserved until Cody Rhodes decided to team up with the same Roman Reigns who had tortured and victimized him and his friends for four long years.
This can and should feel like a stab in the back to Seth Rollins after everything he has done for Cody. So, if Cody Rhodes remains involved in the Bloodline business, helping out Roman Reigns, then Seth Rollins might just have his eyes set on Cody and exacting revenge on him whenever he comes back next. The promos will be legendary, and fans might just turn on Cody because of how much sense it would make from Seth’s point of view.
Return at the WWE Royal Rumble
If Seth decides to take a longer break, Royal Rumble will be the perfect time for him to return. It can serve more than one purpose. He might be booked at a spot where Bronson Reed is wreaking havoc in the Rumble and then Seth’s music hits, and he becomes the one that eliminates the monster.
The Rumble can also set up his feud with Punk, with both of them being involved in eliminating the other from the Rumble and hence setting up their WrestleMania feud.
