Why should Bron Breakker win the IC title from Sami Zayn?: WWE

Bron Breakker is one of the young, talented and upcoming WWE Superstars, who is currently on the Raw roster. He had an impressive run in NXT, where he was the former NXT Champion and the NXT Tag Team Champion. He was the face of the black and yellow brand for so long and has put on some great matches. 

Breakker made his main roster debut at the 2024 Royal Rumble and gained major attention from the WWE management and fans. He soon got contracted to the main roster in the blue brand as a babyface, however drafted to the red brand to turn heel. Although experiencing a change of character, Breakker is on the same dominance level and squashing his opponents down.

Bron Breakker has now entered into his first championship match in the main roster, where he will be facing Sami Zayn in the Money in the Bank for the Intercontinental Championship. Ahead of their match, here are some of the reasons why Bron Breakker should win the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn.

3. Sami Zayn to enter World title picture

Bron Breakker should dethrone Sami Zayn in the Intercontinental Championship to make Sami enter the World title picture. Sami Zayn throughout his career has been struck in the mid-card feuds and championships. He never got the opportunity to hold the world title. After losing the title to Breakker, Zayn could compete for the world championship which he deserves.

Zayn had a resolution earlier this year on the road to WrestleMania, that he would become a World Champion, but he fell apart and moved on by winning the IC title. Losing the title to Bron could reinstate his resolution and his pursuits to become the world champion. 

2. Competitive mid-card

Sami Zayn throughout this IC title reign has only defended the title against very few opponents namely Chad Gable and Bronson Reed. Bron winning the IC title could make the mid-card in the Raw brand more competitive, as he already has issues with several talents in the ring and backstage.

Breaker has a character, where he can compete with both babyfaces and heel wrestlers and could deliver a tough fight. As most of the mid-card wrestlers are inactive, Breaker could make the roster interesting similar to how Gunther elevated it in the last two years.

1. To make him the next big thing

Bron Breakker is considered the next big thing since he made his WWE main roster debut earlier this year. He has been squashing his opponents and already being the talk of the town. He’s got the speed, power, technique and charisma that a champion deserves, however, the only thing he doesn’t have is the championship in the main roster.

Bron Breakker winning the Intercontinental Championship could be the first big thing for him, and could eventually elevate his career in the main roster as the future world champion of the company.
