Jia Heng Jason Teh to represent Singapore in BWF Korea Masters 2023
BWF Korea Masters 2023 started as an International Challenge event, establishing itself as the fourth tier in international badminton competitions. Its initial editions were held in Suwon, followed by Yeosu in 2008 and Hwasun in 2009. In 2010, a significant change occurred, elevating the tournament’s status to that of a BWF Grand Prix event.
This transition to BWF Grand Prix Gold occurred in 2011, and this status remained in place until the conclusion of the Grand Prix Gold era in 2017, with a brief return to Grand Prix status in 2014. This coincided with Korea hosting major badminton events, including the Asian Games and the Badminton Asia Championships.
