Thailand Open 2024: Updated schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

Satwik-Chirag will look to regain form before the Olympics.
The badminton world’s focus shifts to the Thai capital this week as the Thailand Open 2024 gets underway on May 14th. The Super 500 tournament on the BWF World Tour circuit carries added significance with the Paris Olympics just months away.
Leading India’s charge will be the top-seeded men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty. The duo had a slight dip in form at the recent Thomas Cup and will be keen to regain their competitive edge. They open their campaign against Malaysia’s Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub and Tan Wee Kiong.
All eyes will also be on India’s top singles player HS Prannoy. The world no 9 had an inconsistent run recently, beating Indonesia’s Anthony Ginting but losing a close match to China’s Shi Yuqi. Prannoy needs a deep run to boost his confidence ahead of Paris.
