Well today, we will be discussing the top 10 players currently in the game of football, who are best at penalties. Penalties are sometimes game changers, sometimes also the deciding factor of the game. Players good at penalties have a distinctive place in the team.

Palmer is merely 22 years old and almost all his goals came while playing for Chelsea. Palmer has taken a total of 14 penalty kicks so far for his team and he hasn’t missed a one. His stats are currently 100% and this makes him one of those players, on which the team can rely when it comes to penalties. 

8. Lionel Messi

One of the legends of the game, Lionel Messi is often considered as the best player. He is also a very decent Penalty taker. A total of 141 penalties were taken by Messi so far and he has scored 110 out of them. His stats are nearly 75% and when you are playing for such a long time, then this is one of the best stats.   

7. Jorginho

Currently, one of the best players of the game, Jorginho has had a very diverse career so far. He has been a part of Napoli, Chelsea and now Arsenal. Bruno Fernandes, a 29-year-old attacking midfielder from Portugal, currently represents one of the most iconic clubs, Manchester United. Fernandes had a long leap in his career, as before being a part of Manchester United, he used to play for Sporting CP. His maximum goals as penalties have come from Man U. 4. Erling Haaland

A young and massively talented, Erling Haaland currently plays for the best club of 2023, Manchester City. Earlier, Haaland was part of Borussia Dortmund, where he scored a huge amount of goals and after being a part of Man City, he has scored even more. Haaland is just 23-years-old and so far he has taken 50 penalties and he has scored on 45 times out of them. This takes his scoring rate to 90%, making him one of the best penalty takers in football today. 

3. Robert Lewandowski

One of the greats, Robert Lewandowski has a huge amount of goals under his name. Lewandowski has been a part of three top footballing clubs of all time, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and currently Barcelona. 2. Harry Kane

Kane is the only second English player to play for Bayern Munich. In his amazing professional career, Kane has taken a total of 85 penalties and out of them he has scored 74 times. Currently his scoring rate is around 87% and his overall stats put him second on the list of best penalty takers currently. 

1. Cristiano Ronaldo

Undoubtedly, Cristiano Ronaldo has to top the list of best penalty takers currently. His skyrocketing stats are enough to make anyone believe the fact of him being the number one. In his entire professional career, Ronaldo has taken a total of 192 penalties and out of those, he has scored 163 times. This also makes him the player to take the most number of penalties. His scoring rate is around 85% and after playing these many games, such a record is outstanding.
