He made his debut as a ring announcer in his father’s WWWF’s All-Star Wrestling promotion. He began assisting his father to run the WWWF and became an influential person of the company. He played a major role in changing the name of the wrestling promotion to WWF. In 1980 McMahon officially founded Titan Sports with his wife Linda McMahon with Massachusetts as its headquarters.

In 2019, WWE was countered by the newly formed wrestling promotion AEW. Which is now considered as the second largest wrestling promotion. In June 2022, McMahon stepped down as the Chairman and CEO of WWE following a sexual allegation and was later retired from his positions.
