Vince McMahon is an American Businessman, Sports Executive, Media Proprietor and Professional Wrestling Promoter. He made his debut as a ring announcer in his father’s WWWF’s All-Star Wrestling promotion. He began assisting his father to run the WWWF and became an influential person of the company. He played a major role in changing the name of the wrestling promotion to WWF. In 1980 McMahon officially founded Titan Sports with his wife Linda McMahon with Massachusetts as its headquarters.

New Generation Era & Attitude Era
Despite the success of the Golden Era, the New Generation Era was not so smooth for Vince McMahon as he was countered by the potential rival WCW. The success of the WCW forced WWF to move to the Attitude Era, where everything became more Adult-oriented and Vince McMahon started to get involved in the feuds and storylines directly. WWF started gaining the viewership they lost and became one of the highest rated shows.
Ruthless Aggression & PG Era
In 1999, Vince McMahon purchased the rival WCW and acquired its assets and the wrestlers were signed into WWF as a part of the acquisition. In 2002 after a dispute with the World Wildlife Fund, WWF was then changed to WWE and entered the Ruthless Aggression Era with the same amount of violence and adult content. In 2018 WWE programs entered the PG era with less adult content and focused on the storytellings and more scripted contents. This Era marked more sponsors to the company and raised television ratings.
In 2019, WWE was countered by the newly formed wrestling promotion AEW. Which is now considered as the second largest wrestling promotion. In June 2022, McMahon stepped down as the Chairman and CEO of WWE following a sexual allegation and was later retired from his positions.
In 2023, Vince McMahon returned as the Executive Chairman of WWE and merged the company with UFC under the TKO groups by selling 51% of the stakes to Endeavor. Where McMahon holds 34% of the shares. There is no doubt that McMahon is one of the greatest businessmen, but how much does he worth?
