WrestleMania XL Kickoff was a great show, where Triple H and The Rock reignited their feud. During the show, Cody Rhodes made his decision to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to change the deal of The Rock vs Roman Reigns. They made it personal and Rock slapped Cody for talking about his family.
The Rock then went backstage and interrupted Triple H’s interview and warned him to fix things or they will. Triple H got pissed by Rock and addressed the situation on SmackDown. Where The King of Kings said that no one has authority over him and he is the one who makes decisions.
He confirmed that there will be no change in Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes and said that if Rock feels unhappy, it doesn’t matter to him. As they were teasing to wrestle each other, a recent report reveals the WWE in-ring status of Triple H.
Triple H’ in-ring return status
On the recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer addressed Triple H’s in-ring status ahead of raising tensions between him and The Rock. Meltzer said that they teased that they wanted to fight each other, but that isn’t going to happen. Last time when Meltzer heard about The Game, it was said he had a pacemaker installed in his heart and it is unimaginable for him to wrestle.
“They played their little game that they wanted to wrestle each other at WrestleMania. Last time I was told, that wasn’t even gonna happen. I couldn’t even imagine, you know, he has a pacemaker, so he made it clear that’s not gonna happen.”
Triple H suffered heart failure in September 2021 and had a 15-hour-long surgery to get an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD). Following that Triple H officially announced his in-ring retirement in April 2022. His medical conditions have made him retire and it seems that he won’t be making physical contact with The Rock.
However, we speculate that The Rock & Triple H will clash regarding their powers in the company. Do you stand with the Chief Creative Officer of WWE or with the Board member of TKO? Comment.
