CM Punk is announced to appear for the 8/26 episode of WWE Raw!
CM Punk & Drew McIntyre rivalry is one of the best things Red brand has to offer. Both have been feuding with each other since the beginning of the year. Both had a tough run, unable to have their hands on each other.
However, they had their first match at SummerSlam 2024, where Drew McIntyre picked up the win. Although Drew picked up a win against Punk showing his dominance, Punk called for a sequel rivalry with Drew McIntyre.
On the August 12, 2024, episode of Monday Night Raw, both brawled ringside, where Punk took shots at McIntyre with the leather belt.
The following week (August 19, 2024) on Raw, Punk appeared with the long leather strap and announced that he met Adam Pearce and got confirmed for a strap match with Drew McIntyre at Bash in Berlin 2024.
As we head to the final episode of WWE Raw before the Bash in Berlin 2024 PLE, here are three things CM Punk could do on the show.
3. Cut promo against Drew McIntyre
CM Punk could cut a promo against Drew McIntyre, potentially teasing what could happen at the Bash in Berlin, recalling the previous strap matches he had in and out of the company. Punk could promise that he would tear McIntyre and take the bracelet from him, as it is the only driving point that makes Punk go mad at the Scottish Warrior. They could have a confrontation or a counter promo from McIntyre to set the final hype before their match this Saturday.
2. Adds more stipulations
CM Punk could add more stipulations to the Strap match, where he could assure Drew that he could no longer interfere with him if Drew wins the match. On the other hand, Punk could ask Drew to return his bracelet, if he wins. Since Punk is mad about taking the bracelet away from Drew, they could have the gentlemen’s agreement as an add-on stipulation for their match.
1. Showcase a glimpse of Bash in Berlin
Punk and McIntyre could have a heated confrontation and could brawl ringside. They could have the straps locked in to showcase a glimpse of what could happen this Saturday in Germany. The second match between them is happening within a short span and there is no hype for their match. As that being said, the only way to set the hype for their match is by involving both in a brawl to set the peak hype.
