Four players to score or assist in 15 consecutive Premier League home games
Some of the top players who delighted the home crowd in the Premier League
Over the years, several iconic stars have graced the pitches of the Premier League. From prolific goalscorers to midfield magicians, fans have witnessed some incredible players. These players have provided fans with some of the most exhilarating football the English top-flight has to offer. Staying consistent in the Premier League is no mean feat given its highly competitive and unpredictable nature. However, a few superstars have managed to find a way to get involved in the goals and assists regularly.
On that note, let’s take a look at the top four players who have scored or assisted in 15 consecutive Premier League home games:
Alan Shearer – 15
Widely regarded as one of the best strikers of all time and one of the greatest players in the history of the Premier League, Shearer was often styled as a classic English centre-forward, owing to his strength, physical stature, heading ability and strong shot, which enabled him to be a highly prolific goalscorer. He is the only one on this list who has appeared twice, which shows how good he was. He was known for his accuracy and shooting power from outside the penalty area either when taking set-pieces or from open play
Mohamed Salah (ongoing) – 15
Salah is predominantly known for his speed, movement, clinical finishing, agility, dribbling skills, first touch, and ball control, as well as his ability to use both his pace and flair on the ball to beat opponents and create scoring opportunities for himself or his teammates. Currently, he is in top form and performing well in every match. He has a great opportunity to break Alan Shearer’s record and create his new record.

Thierry Henry – 17
He is considered to be one of the best players of his time and also one of the greats who played in the English top flight. One of the reasons cited for Henry’s impressive play up front is his ability to calmly score from one-on-ones. At his physical peak from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s, Henry’s ability to dribble past opponents with exceptional pace, skill and composure, meant that he could get in behind defenders regularly enough to score.
Given his versatility in being able to operate as both a winger and a striker, the Frenchman was not a prototypical “out-and-out striker”, but he has emerged consistently as one of Europe’s most prolific strikers. He has many records in his name but he was not able to break Alan’s record.
Alan Shearer – 18
Alan Shearer is the Premier League leader for both goals scored (260) and goal involvement (324). Shearer played his entire career in the top level of English football. Not only he was good in club football but also at the international level he was one of the best, for the England national team, Shearer appeared 63 times and scored 30 goals. During his whole career, he created many records and this record is one of them. Many top players have played in the Premier League but till now no one has been able to break this record.
