Swiss Open 2024: Updated schedule, fixtures, results, live streaming details

Denmark has most number of Swiss Open titles.
The Swiss Open, also recognized as the Open de Suisse, is an esteemed badminton competition held annually in Switzerland since 1955. Originally part of the BWF Super Series in 2007, it was later demoted to a Grand Prix Gold event in 2011. However, it regained prominence and now serves as a BWF Super 300 event as of 2023.
Scheduled as the ninth tournament of the 2024 BWF World Tour, the Swiss Open 2024 will be hosted at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland, from March 19 to March 24. With a total prize purse of US$210,000.35.

Koki Watanabe, Pornpawee Chochuwong, and the Chinese pair of Jiang Zhen Bang/ Wei Ya Xin will be back at Basel to defend their title from 2023.
The WR1 pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, have not registered for the tournament and, therefore, will not be defending their title. Similarly, the WR11 Japanese pair, Rena Miyaura and Ayako Sakuramoto, will also be absent and not defending their title. Big names such as PV Sindhu and Lee Zii Jia will be returning to the tournament.

BWF Swiss Open 2024 is set to begin on March 19 onwards and will conclude on March 24.
