‘The Man’ recently lost her Women’s World Title to Liv Morgan

Becky Lynch is one of the greatest women’s professional wrestlers of all time, who has been in WWE Since 2013. She is a nine-time champion in the company and is the sixth Women’s Grand Slam Champion. Becky transformed herself from an underdog to the top star of the company and has been the VIP of the women’s division.

She has a great legacy with the company and played a major role in the upliftment of the women’s division. Despite having a great legacy in the company, Becky has been teasing of leaving the company upon contract expiry.

Backstage reports suggest that Becky’s contract is set to expire by June 1, 2024, however she didn’t sign a new contract and her plans are unknown. Between this Becky had his match on the latest episode of Raw for the Women’s World Championship and lost to Liv Morgan, which was teased to be her last match before her contract expires. As most of them wonder, will they be able to see Becky in WWE or will move to AEW for a massive deal after contract expiry, a backstage report potentially reveals her status.

Backstage report on Becky Lynch’s status

Wade Keller of PWTorch reported that he have heard from the WWE sources that they believe they will come to terms with Becky Lynch’s contract sooner. The report suggests that Becky Lynch told people within WWE that she is not going to AEW imminently, and the inside sources indicate that she will be taking a long hiatus. However they are not sure about her decision.

Wade Keller of PWTorch said,

“In speaking with WWE sources, they believe they will come to terms with Lynch on a new agreement, but obviously, until and unless something is signed, anything can happen. Stay tuned.”

“She is not, according to what she’s telling people in WWE, going to AEW imminently. Instead, multiple sources with insights into her situation indicate she is taking a hiatus. We are not aware of whether this is to spend more time at home and take a break from the grind or if it’s out of frustration with her contract offer from WWE.”

Although this is being one of the potential reports, everything depends on Becky Lynch’s decision. She has accomplished everything in the industry and if she wishes to retire now, she would still be the GOAT of women’s wrestling.
