Sami defended his Intercontinental Title in a triple threat showdown against Reed and Gable.

At WWE King and Queen of the Ring, Sami Zayn defended his Intercontinental Championship in a high-stakes Triple Threat Match against Chad Gable and “Big” Bronson Reed. After Zayn defeated Gable in the final stage of a Gauntlet Match to earn his WrestleMania shot against Gunther, Gable stepped up to train Zayn, helping him end Gunther’s historic title reign.

Grateful for Gable’s support, Zayn promised him a future title opportunity. However, when Sami Zayn triumphed in Montreal, Gable’s jealousy boiled over, leading to a brutal attack on the new champion.

Amid the escalating tension, Bronson Reed entered the fray, attacking Zayn to stake his own claim to the Intercontinental Title. In a subsequent title match between Zayn and Reed, Gable intervened, sparking chaos. Reed, not one to back down, also attacked Gable. The following week, as Gable and Reed clashed, Zayn launched an assault on both, igniting another brawl.

Now, Zayn, Gable, and Reed will face off for the championship in what promises to be an explosive encounter at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. Who will emerge as the Intercontinental Champion?

Sami Zayn retains his WWE Intercontinental Championship in fashion

Chad Gable was the first one to enter with the legendary “You Suck” chants. The crowd couldn’t have been much hyped. Then came Bronson Reed, then came the champion Sami Zayn who was met with huge love from fans.

During Reeds’ entrance, we see another hint at Uncle Howdy’s return, it might be the time that Uncle Howdy makes his return.

All three men came into the center of the ring and started throwing fists at each other but Sami Zayn was in control as he took out Reed to attack Gable. But Reed relentlessly kept coming back attacking both the men. Bronson Reed manhandled both Gable and Zayn as he stood on top of them.

As Reed kept on having control both Gable and Zayn took out Reed and then attacked each other. In this, Zayn got a chance to gain momentum as he took down both the men. Zayn then hit Reed with a sunset powerbomb, but Reed kicked out of two.

Reed later got control of the match as he took out both Zayn and Gable. As he tried to capitalize Zayn went for a Helluva Kick but Gable came in hitting Zayn with two German suplexes, but Zayn countered with his own German Suplex. But as Bronson Reed tried to enter the suplex game Gable hit a double suplex on Zayn and Reed.

Then, Gable started to ask for Otis’ help but Otis hesitated. Gable then in anger started hitting Otis and slapped him for a second time but Otis hit Gable with a clothesline by mistake as Sami Zayn got out of the way. It helped Zayn hit Reed with a helluva kick to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
