The popularity of WWE superstars is heavily influenced by the merchandise numbers.

WWE has produced some of the most influential and popular superstars of all time. Over the years, the global juggernaut has produced an array of big names that have moved the merchandise section of the company like no other.

The year 2024 has been no different as some WWE superstars generated impressive merchandise numbers that set records. Here are the top five record-selling merchandise movers for the year 2024 so far:

5. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Since the Attitude Era, Stone Cold Steve Austin has been one of the most popular names in the merchandise section. During his prime, Austin sold merchandise with ease, and even to this day, his name remains in the conversation, mostly popular for his black Austin 3:16 tee. The trend continued in 2024 as The Texas Rattlesnake grabbed the 5th spot among top Merch sellers for WWE.

4. Roman Reigns

Despite Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE television programming since WrestleMania 40, his merchandise has not stopped being popular this year. Heading into WrestleMania, The Tribal Chief generated exceptional merchandise sales and even in defeat, Reigns continues to command the attention of the WWE Universe with the “We want Roman” chants each week. This has possibly helped him hold on to a top spot in the merchandise sellers being at number #4 for this year.

3. Jey Uso

Jey Uso has emerged as a popular name in WWE since the start of his singles run last year on RAW. Moreover, his YEET chants are in full effect each week on the red brand and now have also attracted the fireflies to themselves. The rise in his fame and popularity has helped him move his YEET merchandise to the point that Uso grabbed the third spot among top sellers of 2024 which could be indicative of a monster push coming Main Event Jey Uso’s way.

2. CM Punk

During his meteoric rise in 2011, CM Punk outlasted then-poster boy John Cena in merchandise sales and overtook a spot dominated by the 16-time WWE Champion for a long time. The Best in the World has continued the trend after his return to WWE in 2023 with his OG merchandise way on top of the charts yet again. Despite not even stepping in the ring on one occasion, CM Punk’s popularity and influence have helped him take the second spot among top merchandise sellers of 2024.

1. Cody Rhodes

The era of Cody Rhodes began at the dawn of WrestleMania 40 when he dethroned Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE title. However, even in the build-up to the match, his connection with the fans deepen to a great extent. This has been evident in his rapid merchandise sales, firstly topping the charts as the top merch sellers on Fanatics and now taking the top spot as WWE’s top merchandise movers in the year 2024.
