The defender headed home on the half hour mark to settvle the match fir the Stallions.

FC Pune City beat Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur on Sunday courtesy of a 1-0 score-line. Midfielder Adil Khan grabbed the only goal of the match in the first half as the league debutants suffered their first ever defeat four days after picking up their first win.

Jamshedpur FC

Subrata Paul- 5.5

He had a very poor game in truth. Prior to this match, he hadn’t conceded a single goal and in this game, due to some sloppy defending, he conceded the goal to the only shot on target. The shot-stopper had three clearances and one catch in thie game but goal proved to be the deciding factor.

Shouvik Ghosh- 5.5

Looked deserted all game. He did not clock a single tackle nor an interception the whole match and being a defender that is a pretty shocking stat. He passed the ball 21 times with a pass completion rate of 52%. Also contributed 5 clearances to the team’s defence.

He was the team’s creative outlet. Created two good chances. but the finishing was poor which was Jamshedpur’s biggest weakness. For a midfielder, his pass completion percentage was very poor which is why he’s got such a low rating. He completed 41 passes with a completion rate of 41%.

Souvik Chakrabarti- 6/10

Contributed to the team at both ends of the pitch. He totalled two blocks and had an interception to show for his efforts. He also had four crosses to show for in the game. He completed a total of 34 passes and 56% of them on target.

Mehtab Hossain- 6.5

One of the better players on the pitch, Mehtab did well to put pressure on the Pune defence. He propelled the Jamshedpur attack, but it was to no avail. He linked the defence with the attack with his 37 passes and to add to that, he also helped his back four with four interceptions.

Siddharth Singh- 6.0

Playing higher up the pitch, Siddharth was expected to provide a lot more offensively. He played for 66 minutes and could muster up just one shot on target. He finished his game with 18 passes with a completion rate of 56%.

Farukh chance
