It was a franetic game in which Mohammed Rafi svcored the opener for Blasters late in the first half but Sereno levelled matters before the break. There was no seperating the two teams through the rest of regulation and extra-time. We went to penalties for the secondgame running. Hume had his saved by Srack. But, N’Doye missed his penalty while Debjit saved from Hengbart to hand the Bengal Tigers a 4-3 win on penalties and their second title in three seasons.
Conflighting emotions for Hume was part of the losing team with Blasters two years ago.

What a half of football. Kolkata grew into the game as the half went on and had as many as five presentable chances to take the lead, the best of them following to Helder Postiga. Kerala’s opener came against the run of play, but Sereno equalized by the same methjod just before the break. Back in a while.
