Just like the previous season, the 2021-22 season of the Goa Pro League have 12 teams battling it out among each other to find the champion of Goan football.
The competition has been cut short to single-leg fixtures across four months, as opposed to the two-legged system that was in place till the 2019-20 season. Every team will face all the other teams once each. This will be followed by a Super League and a Relegation League for the top six and bottom six teams respectively.
