ISL 2024-25: All transfers completed so far in summer transfer window

All of the teams are looking to strengthen their squads for the 11th ISL season.

The Indian Super League (ISL) is gearing up for another exciting season in 2024-25. With new entrants, managerial changes and significant player transfers, each club is strategizing to enhance their performances to achieve their respective goals.

Here’s a detailed look at the confirmed transfers for each team ahead of the new season.

Bengaluru FC

Bengaluru FC had a disastrous 2023-24 season. Gerard Zaragoza’s men finished 10th in the 12-team league and this season there will be plenty of changes in the squad for the Blues.

Outgoings: Olivier Drost, Slavko Damjanovic, Amrit Gope, Vikram Singh, Javi Hernandez, Rohit Kumar, Robin Yadav, Amay Morajkar, Lara Sharma, Shankar Sampingraj

Chennaiyin FC

Despite not having an ideal squad on-paper, Owen Coyle’s men reached the playoffs last season. Unfortunately, they could not proceed further, but the Marina Machans have been proactive in the transfer window.

East Bengal

The Kolkata giants won silverware after 12 years which will give them a ticket to Asia, but their ISL campaign was nothing short of a disappointment. East Bengal are expected to do substantial business.

Incomings: Dimitrios Diamantakos, David Lalhlasanga, Mark Zothanpuia, Madih Talal

FC Goa

FC Goa missed out on the ISL title last time out and a few of their star players have left the club upon the expiry of their contracts. It’ll be interesting to see how Goa will fill this void.

Outgoings: Noah Sadaoui, Brandon Fernandes, Carlos Martinez, Dheeraj Singh, Sanson Pereira, Saviour Gama

Contract Extension: Jay Gupta, Odei Oneindia, Arshdeep Singh

Hyderabad FC

The financial issues at Hyderabad FC loom large and the club are facing FIFA bans. Unless the financial irregularities are sorted out no incomings are expected.

Jamshedpur FC

Jamshedpur FC will need a full revamp of the squad after good-performing players from last season have left the club.

Contract Extension: Rei Tachikawa, Seiminlen Doungel,

Kerala Blasters

Kerala Blasters qualified for the playoffs last season, but couldn’t make the most of their brilliant start. They have hired Mikael Stahre in the hope of changing their fortunes.

Incomings: Likmabam Rakesh, Som Kumar, R Lalthanmawia, Nora Fernandes

Outgoings: Marko Leskovic, Dimitrios Diamantakos, Fedor Cerynch, Daisuke Sakai, Karanjit Singh

Contract Extension: Adrian Luna

Mohammedan S.C. 

Mohammedan became the second side to be promoted to ISL after their winning campaign in the I-League.

Incomings:

Outgoings: David Lalhlasanga, Bedashwor Singh, Biaka Jongte, James Kithan, Evgeny Kozlov, Karan Deep, Abhash Thapa, Juan Nellar, Abhijit Sarkar

Contract Extension:

Mohun Bagan Super Giant

Mohun Bagan nearly missed out on a domestic treble and they will be hungry for more with stakes in Asia again, where they performed badly. Jose Molina has returned to India and been given the helm of MBSG

Outgoings: Hnamte, Kiyan Nassiri, Hector Yutse, Brendon Hamil, Joni Kauko

Contract Extension:

Mumbai City

Mumbai City won the ISL title with Petr Kratky taking charge in the middle of the season. Mumbai have made some strategic acquisitions in the window.

Incomings: Brandon Fernandes, TP Rehenesh, Noufal PN, Daniel Lalhlimpuia, Jérémy Manzorro, Hardik Bhatt

NorthEast United

NorthEast United missed out on the playoffs by a whisker last season. They would be eager to perform better.

Contract Extension: Bemmamer

Odisha FC

Odisha missed out on the ISL League Winners’ Shield and title. Sergio Lobera will look to do better with the eastern side.

Outgoings: CY Goddard, Aniket Jadhav, Michael Sossairaj, Pranjal Bhumij, Princeton Rebello, Sahil

Contract Extension: Carlos Delgado, Roy Krishna

Punjab FC

Punjab FC performed decently in its debut season, but this campaign, it will have a whole new foreign contingent and coach. It’ll be interesting to see what Punjab FC has to offer.
