The 28th edition of the prestigious tournament is set to start on August 21.

Badminton’s biggest event, the BWF World Championships, will be back in Copenhagen next week for a record fifth time. No other city has hosted this prestigious championship on more than three occasions apart from Copenhagen. After a break of two weeks, the entire focus of the badminton fans is now shifted to the most important event in the annual calendar — BWF World Championships 2023. The event starts on August 21 (Monday) with the finals to be played on 27th (Sunday).

Top players from around the world will gather to compete against each other and will try to finish on the podium. With the Paris Olympics scheduled for next year, the BWF World Championships 2023 has become very important for all the players looking to make the cut to Paris.
